Chin focuses on the colour blue, with linear grafts of colour particularly evident at the edges of the composition, where the coloured line seems to head to an undefined place in the mind. Our eye is almost blinded by the blue colour, a blue sea, where we try to lose ourselves, to drown.
Soon, those lines of colour force us out of the painting towards a place yet to be defined, yet to be found, perhaps, towards infinity.
